SensoryEffects® is a leading supplier of customized, technology-driven food and beverage solutions consisting of ingredient and flavor systems and finished products for numerous application categories, including baking, frozen dessert, beverage and dairy, and nutritional systems. Comprised of three distinct and synergistic business segments, Powder Systems, Flavor Systems, and Cereal Systems, we focus on delivering personalized service while leveraging the broad experience and competencies of our company.

Our businesses work from four different manufacturing locations; Defiance, OH, Reading, PA, Bridgeton, MO (St. Louis area), and Lincoln, NE.
SensoryEffects® Powder Systems (SEPS) was acquired from the Diehl family in May of 2006. Formerly Diehl Ingredients, SensoryEffects Powder Systems manufactures and supplies specialty spray-dried emulsified powders and formulated dry blended systems. This business has been built from organic growth and complementary acquisitions including ACH's industrial powder business. View our products pages to learn more.
SensoryEffects® Flavor Systems (SEFS) has been built through the acquisition of Givaudan Flavors in February 2008 and other complementary acquisitions including Kalva® Corporation in May, 2009, Juice PacTM in July, 2010, and Cargill's vitamin business in July, 2010. SEFS, which includes SensoryEffects Inclusions, manufactures and supplies customized wet-based and dry-based flavor systems for a variety of end uses.
